Draw your breakfast, lunch, or supper

Observational drawing is the basis of all art. If you can draw well, that will help you be a great painter and sculpture as well. Just like any other skill, to get better at drawing you will need to practice, practice, practice.

As you're drawing, really "look" at the food. Don't just draw eggs, like you think they should be, but look at the eggs on your plate right in front of you. What do your eggs look like? What lines are they made up of? Are they curved lines, diagonal lines, squiggle lines? Don't worry too much about your finished drawing, just practice looking and drawing what you see. The more you do this the better you will be!
