Make an art creation based on the daily prompt using ANY materials you have at home: pencil, pen, markers, colored pencil, crayon, pastels, paint, paper collage, magazines, objects found at home (cardboard boxes, receipts, mail, toilet paper tubes ;)), photography, digital art, etc. - let your creativity run wild! Use your imagination and interpret the prompt any way you want. Keep it school appropriate.

Do I have to complete an art prompt every day?

You can complete as many as you'd like. Go at your own pace. Some of you may make simple drawings that take 5-10 minutes (like our sketchbooks) and some of you may make elaborate creations that take much more time.

Do I have to be in art class to participate? 

Not at all! This is for anyone who wants to be stretched in their creativity - everyone is welcome!

Will Mrs. McKeon be posting pictures of my artwork anywhere?

If you specify that I can share your art, I will post artwork on this site, the SBS visual arts Instagram, and my personal Instagram.
