Did you know you can paint with coffee? A few years ago it was an art challenge, I think started because artists would absentmindedly mistake their coffee cup for their water cup.

If you have instant coffee this works best because you can easily mix 3 different values (darknesses) of "coffee paint." However, if you have traditional coffee do not worry! Make some very strong coffee (let it cool) and then pour it into 3 or 4 small cups. Then add different amounts of water to all but one cup. The original coffee will be your darkest value, while your others will be lighter shades depending on how much you watered them down.

I have put a video of a coffee painting here, it is really similar to the watercolor galaxy paintings, but you can paint anything using coffee - just lightly sketch with pencil first and watch for where the darks are and where the lights are.
