Learn to handletter

This tutorial is a wonderful introduction into handlettering. It shows you how to use brush pens as well as how to faux letter with just a normal pen or pencil. 

The main thing to remember is to apply heavy pressure on your downstrokes and very light pressure on upstrokes. 

There's no way to get better at lettering other than lots of practice. Once you've got the basics down you can look on pinterest and search different lettering shapes.
